Seattle MLS Expansion Franchise announces name, logo, colors: Seattle Sounders FC

Today at a news conference in Seattle, Washington, the Seattle MLS Expansion Franchise officially announced it’s name, along with logo and colors. After allowing fans to vote on the name of new franchise, the ownership group announced that the write in name “Seattle Sounders FC” will become the new name of the franchise. Seattle is set to enter Major League Soccer in the 2009 season, playing their home games at QWest Field.
