Robocup 2008 video

pict1812.jpgThis years Robocup 2008 tournament featured miniature humanoid robots competing as a team to win the soccer tournament hosted in Suzhou China. The robots were able to complete passes, chase down lose balls, albeit very slowly(think Abel Xavier), and score goals. Could this be the future of soccer? Will we see Jozy Altidore partnered up top in the 2014 World Cup by Wynaldatron #9? Here are a few videos from the event:
